We are seeking an experienced communications specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to support our business and help take it to the next level. As an integral part of XK’s Operations team, you will have opportunities to contribute to marketing strategy and to design and lead business development initiatives.

This role is based in our new office in Sydney, CBD and is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents.


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent organisational abilities

Role Requirements


  • General management of communications activities and resources
  • Website and social media content planning, execution and management
  • Marketing, sponsorship and events management
  • Monitor, measurement and reporting of marketing and sales strategy effectiveness


  • New Tenders / Proposals development and support for Managing Director (MD) and Senior Management Team
  • Development of BD materials, such as proposals, capability documents, key personnel CVs (Professional Profiles) and other content as required
  • Manage and prepare applications for government and industry body grants, programs and awards
  • Write, review and maintain company policies and documentation Business Development
  • Maintain XK’s network and client database
  • Build and manage XK project portfolio database
  • Research, develop and implement public relations (PR) initiatives for XK and MD
  • Lead pro-bono initiatives
  • Manage industry memberships and maximise opportunities for marketing, networking & business development


  • Management and direction of visual communication and maintenance of XK branding and consistency
  • Preparation of presentations, reports, emails templates
  • Lead initiatives in the office to ensure consistency of professionalism delivered to clients and partners, facilitate training and development
