Located on Hall Street at the popular Bondi Beach, will soon be standing this exceptional mixed-use development. Designed by Koichi Takada Architects and built by Lords Group, Aqualine consists of 17 luxury apartments, two basement levels for parking, and commercial retail space on the lower 2 ground floor levels.
Aqualine will embrace history, intricately designed to wrap around an existing heritage sandstone building which will be refurbished as part of the development.
Developed within sandy and high-level water table ground conditions, we identified critical risks and challenges for the project’s longevity. Our team worked with project partners to meet and overcome major challenges, including the design of the tanked basement and coordinating the structure to meet the architectural vision, aesthetics and specific DA conditions.
Combining our expertise and close collaboration with the project team, we achieved effective and efficient solutions in the shoring and tanked basement design, creating the best foundation for the project’s success.
