As a community, we need to come together to address the growing issue of youth homelessness in Australia. Recent data shows that 25% of the homeless population in the country are young people aged between 12 and 24 years. It’s a sobering statistic that highlights the urgency of the problem.
Fortunately, Property Industry Foundation is making a tangible difference in the lives of homeless youth. PIF has been coordinating special events to raise funds aiming at providing safe and stable housing for those in need.
Last week was PIF’s popular golf day event at Concord Golf Club in Sydney. It was not only a meaningful event, but it was also a lot of fun! Scott Sharma and Johann Human from XK Leadership Team attended alongside industry partners Michael Jessett and Benjamin Whittam and had a great time networking and playing golf while supporting such an important cause.
