Our Structural and Civil team is working together with project partners to bring life, community and culture to an abandoned historical site.

Rozelle Village is a $135million mixed-use development bringing state-of-the-art hospitality, retail and commercial spaces, 149 high-quality apartments, a central plaza and community spaces to the former Balmain Leagues Club.

Working alongside Heworth Holdings Group, Touchstone Partners and Scott Carver, the project is being designed using the latest technologies and materials, while honouring the streetscape’s impressive heritage significance.

Showcasing a perfect blend of engineering innovation and community-oriented design, our experienced Structural team are developing solutions to accommodate the site and future planning for the community. With a planned road and train tunnel passing next to the site and the neighbouring heritage buildings, our team is conducting critical assessments of the retention system design to ensure future project feasibility and constructability.

With the site on one of Sydney’s main traffic routes to the CBD, our Civil engineering team developed complex road and public domain infrastructure designs while ensuring efficient traffic flow around the site during construction to minimise the impact on the community. Our experience with the Local and State Governments’ approval process allowed us to satisfy TfNSW and Inner West Council’s strict requirements while meeting the project’s unique needs.

The Rozelle Village and Tigers Leagues Club project is a testament to the importance of community and history in mixed-use developments. The project team is working in close collaboration to create a space that is not only visually appealing but also exceeds the needs and expectations of the local community.
