With over 30 years of management and engineering experience, Anthony’s record of experience has built an exceptional reputation of technical expertise and leadership in multi-million-dollar projects, including building envelopes, façades, curtain walling, glazing, cladding and green buildings across Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

I am a qualified façade expert with 30+ years of proven track record in managing strategic operational, financial and marketing aspects of award-winning complex projects across a wide range of sectors in different continents.
As a leader at XK, what is your vision for the company?
XK has forged strong relationships across the construction industry, so my vision for XK is to strengthen our position to be recognised as a key preeminent player within the Australian building design and engineering market by fully engaging its people and partners, passionately embracing new ideas, seeking out transforming technologies while operating with unbending ethical standards.

Having an architecture background helps understand the design intent and communicate effectively with architects to deliver aesthetically pleasing buildings. I have strong expertise in:
- Façade/building envelope’s performance design and specifications: weatherproofing, structural movements, thermal performance, system testings, design life, service life, material science and durability, … etc.
- Design and Construction Management
- Project Management: Technical, Resourcing, Commercial and Contractual
In your perspective, what trends are we seeing in façade engineering?
A building’s façade incorporates some of the most important elements for architects and end-users. As façades become more advanced and sophisticated, there is a growing interest in adaptive façade technologies and sustainable materials. The current façade design trends tend to focus on:
- Building envelope’s sustainable design
- Standardization and further digitalisation of products (services)
- Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)
